What's your opinion & winners

A giveaway is an amazing thing.  I went from 60+ to 150+  eep! I do hope that you all stay.

Many thanks to both Julie over at Intrepid Thread (here awesome blog is here) and Jenna over at Sew Happy Geek (here awesome etsy shop is here).

I've super ill throughout the entire giveaway.  I'm on the mend, I think.  I'm still looking at the calendar wondering where has September gone?

Since my mind is still slowing coming back to me. . I'll ask your opinion.

What would you do with all of these amazing blocks.

I have a few more in my house that aren't photographed below (I'm lazy and still getting over the sick) and a few more to make their way back home.
Twice as Nice

These were made for me by the wonderful ladies I sew with in the Twice as Nice bee.  Two blocks baby!

So how would you put them together?

  1. Hope you're feeling better honey!
As for the blocks I think it depends on your willpower! It would look great with flying geese sashing between the blocks or as a border to pull all of those HST together, however I think I would loose my marbles running off that many :)

  2. Yay re numbers but boo re being sick, hope you're on the mend. I was asking myself the same thing about September just yesterday. Maybe I'm nuts but I'd add either yellow or red borders to the blocks. Nuts, right?!

  3. Glad you're starting to feel a little better Quilt Mama. Re: the blocks above...I would sash them in the green. I think it would give it a little "pop" as well as bring out the purple a little bit more.

  4. I'm so excited to have won! Thank you, I love fabric!
Those blocks, remind me of a newspaper, black & white, with a splash of color.

  5. They are lovely and whatever you do with them will be fabulous! If they were mine, I'd sew them together without sashing and make a pieced border using some flying geese.

I also recently gave away an Intrepid Thread gift certificate on my blog. I was so jealous of the winner. Now I'm the winner! I guess what goes around, comes around.

Really hope you feel better soon, it seems to be the time of year when everyone gets sick :(

  8. I`m so glad I popped over - I love your blog and see you too just had a giveaway with Julie of IT involved. Isn`t she just the best? So generous. And lovely. I love your blocks and I would put sashing between them I think - they sure are beautiful. I`ll be back, and I`m following you by email as the icon follower thing wasn`t showing!

  9. I'm with Lynn. I thing that would look great pieced together as they are without stashing. Maybe just a couple of boarders in plain colours that highlight the quilt colours. letting the amazing blocks really pop.
    Hope your feeling better.
