October: A Lovely Year of Finishes - Finishes Party

Happy end of October.

So fun to travel for fun and {sigh} work.

Super excited to have fall here in the Pacific Northwest. It's time to get to quilting more and more. I was able to hand-stitch some, not all, of the binding on my largest quilt ever. Be in Portland when they had nearly 2" of rain in a 24-hour period. And fog was surrounding us this morning {I may not have seen that as I slept in ohhhh so much}

I'm nearly finished my goal, of the finish the quilt top of my Metro Rings (pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful) with Kate Spain 'In from the Cold'

I'm hopeful I'll finish by the end of the month. I have all the blocks done. I have the trimming and layout before it's done. I still have time :)
I'll keep you posted if I meet my goal.
