Quilting Table

I took a machine quilting class waaaaay back in September. And just this last week I have this beauty walk in my door.

~~~~~Ahhhhhhh~~~
I was squealing like a little girl when the UPS guy left it on my front deck.
Sew Steady Quilting table
I'm excited about the new clear quilting table. Seriously how are you supposed to take a photo of something see through. Okay - whatever!  :) I love it!
I got this from Sew Steady.  And because I was a facebook friend I got 25% off the table.  See, facebook is good for something!
I feel like I'm a real quilty girl now!  Now I have to say the test run that I did with this - I so need to get some practice pieces under my belt before I tackle a quilt.
Oh yeah I also need a new chair!  My current sewing chair is way too short.  This hobby is really hard on the pocketbook!
    That is an awesome table. Does the material glide nicely? I wish I had more room. I'll have to look into this! And yes....an expensive hobby!
  3. Congrats! It's lovely...I went to the site...I'm guessing their tables fit any machine? I'm not sure how it works. I also got a table this Christmas...but ti's custom for my sewing machine. Yay for you!!! =)
  4. I have one of these I take with me on retreats. I love the extra storage you have UNDER the sew table, your scissors, the pieces your sewing, the pattern; all right there under the table! Bonus, you can see them through the table!
  5. These are great tables my hubbie got me one for a birthday present a while back. Sadly (understatement of the year) my 4 year old broke the front portion off and apparently because of the kind of plastic they're made of you can't glue them back together :( :(
  6. Oh goodness, something else goes on my 'want' list! LOL. That looks awesome! Do you send them the model of your machine so it fits perfect?
  9. Yea!! Those tables are WONDERFUL! The lady I bought my used machine from threw in a similar table! Funny that you mention the chair. I bought a $20 office chair from WM that works pretty well. It's adjustable... still a bit shy of the height I need, but much better than what I was using. That makes a big difference too!
  11. It's lovely and will make a lot of difference for your quilting. I finally bought a chair that adjusts higher and my back was much happier. Before I found the sale, I sat on a couple of books which also helped a lot.
  12. Yay, happy new table! I'm also on the hunt for a higher chair - my current office chair with a self made booster cushion isn't quite doing it!
